It seems as though the Jets are becoming the official 2007 laughing-stock of the NFL. The opening day incident didn't start the year well for the franchise, and the situation hasn't improved since. The Jets are definitely in the running for biggest disappointment of the 2007 season. Nobody expected anything from the Dolphins this year, but the Jets will be lucky to beat them twice if they don't improve.

So, there's gonna be some comedy gold mined at the expense of Jets fans. Bang Cartoon has made Mangini a running character, and it ain't pretty for Jets fans. It also happens to be pretty funny. Ya gotta laugh

The only thing that makes it any better for Jets fans, is that Yankess and Mets fans both had a rough year. The inept play of the NY Jets has plenty of company. So, maybe the Jets come in third in a NY poll, but in any NFL poll, between the Jets, Dolphins, Raiders, and Rams.. it looks to me the Jets would be the obvious choice. If you add in the Bears, Eagles, Chargers, and Bengals.. the Jets might have some late season contenders at the wire due to the expectations those teams had coming into this season.
