After a miserable season in which he was a shell of his former self it seems like a pretty simple decision for the Jets to let Darrelle Revis go,

I don't see the point of keeping him but it's up to Bowles to decide.

At $6 or $7 mil, moving him to safety or as the #2/3 CB, I can deal with that. The position costs about that much to man with a decent body, and there's a limit to how many holes can be filled and how fast. But certainly I don't want him back at the full contract rate: if they do cut him and someone else signs him, that's also a win because the cap hit goes down by whatever he signs for.

Regardless of the truth and outcome of the Pittsburgh incident, Revis should be cut. No way should the jets spend an extra $9 million for this loafer. Mac should just concede that signing Revis was a mistake, cut him now and move on. Let Goodell, the arbitrators, and ultimately the courts figure out if the $6 million remaining guarantee is voidable. Or just give it to the selfish prick and move on. I don't really care about that money. But if the Jets can recoup it, they should. Please.... no Revis in 2017.

Hall of Fame piece of shit, good press coverage, average off coverage, marginal ball skills, fair tackler
when the moment moves him

You were wrong when we moved up and drafted him, you were wrong while he was playing and you are wrong now.

He was wrong how he treated the Jets through the years, he was wrong when he came in disgraceful condition
and played without effort. My comments on his play exactly followed Deion's depiction of him
