Don't have the time to read but the title brought up a thought.
The Jets coaching staff is afraid of the pass and imagines bad
things that can come of it when forced to throw. Coaches like
MCVay & Pederson believe in passing and aren't worried about things
than can go wrong and use the pass in all situations

Yeah, because the Jets CS is from 1975.
They go by points

More like Darrell Royal's Texas teams ....3 things can happen on a pass and 2 of them are bad.

Anyone here think TB took note of aggressive play calling by the Eagles and learned from it?

I read that the Eagles were in an illegal formation on that play.

NJ article reviews the case for such a call. (They mention NFL stance but donít include it)

I'm talking about the TD pass to Foles before the half.

My brother is a football official. He texted me instantly, "Illegal formation".

He said they were letting a ton of ticky-tack stuff go all game.

But, Los is correct, the article is about the TD to Ertz ... the call the refs DIDN'T give to the Patriots.

Maybe itís my fault for posting link to second article in same thread. NJ article was related in my mind, since it dealt with play calling/game planning.

even the former ref said the formation non-call was a non-issue cos they let that shit go v. frequently...
