"Normally we wouldn't have to worry about stuff like that." What a dumbass!!!! Didn't Roenick place blame when Team USA didn't medal a few years back? They were outplayed and outclassed AGAIN. Plain and simple. Modano keeps putting his foot in his mouth. I think he was the one who said that he couldn't feed his dog on the monthly $15K he received from the Union during the lockout last year. Makes you wonder what his dog eats, no? What a bunch of prima donnas. |

Modano is a pretty boy has-been. Maybe he should have done more than score a paltry two goals.

Didn't Tammy Granato say the same thing about the womens team?
She also said they would have beat Sweden if she was playing

Personally, not hiring Tortorella was a mistake. I know Laviolette has been with US Hockey for 11 years and the Hurrivcane are doing well, but when has he succeeded in any big games. This tourney cried out for a guy who has a winning resume, NOT a connection to USA hockey. Chelios, Hatcher and Eshe shouldn't have made this team. They would have been better off picking Al Montoya and playing him as the #3 goalie getting him prepared for 2010. -------------------- Change is here and its name is Mangini.
